BUSINESS DESCRIPTION

to include racing truck, awnings and associated tools and equipment required to run a team
Ref.CN047
Location Relocatable
Asking Price GBP 85,000
An opportunity to acquire the assets of a leading motorcycle race team that has been competing in both the 600 and 1000 superstock classes in the British Superbike Championship. The owner has decided to call time on his invlovlemnt within the team from the end of the current season (October 2014) and is looking at selling the assets of the team. Sponsors are aware of this .However there may be opportunities to re-ignite such sponsorship should a new owner be found at the right time.

The team worked hard on building its profile and was in an enviable postion of having sponsorship and product support from a range of world class companies and brands from both inside and outside the motorcycling sector.

This was achieved by undertaking various networking and marketing activities over the last few years that includes regular press releases, updated website, and proactive Twitter and Facebook pages which had almost 3000 followers.

This activity and positioning led to increased market exposure and the team has strong demand from high quality riders from Australia, USA and South Africa, not to mention the UK. This in turn has led to the team performing well on the track and enjoying yet further sponsorship and product support as a result of this.

The current owner has decided to step down but would be happy to help any prospective buyer with his extensive knowledge and contacts.

Expansion Potential
There is huge scope for growth as The British Superbike Championship has a huge following. Live audience averages circa 45,000 at each race weekend with UK TV audience being 7 million and worldwide 41 million.
